When an auction enters the final 2 minute count down period, bidding will extend beyond the originally scheduled end time when a bid that is higher than the current bid is placed. The new highest bid triggers the clock to reset, restarting the 2 minute count down, and will continue to reset until no new bids are placed. The extended bidding period mimics a live auction environment where allowances are made for all interested parties to continue bidding and is standard across all our online auction events.
